Progress plus

The nursery is coming along...and hopefully will be mostly completed by next week!!!

This weekend we bought the carpet, subfloor, insulation and some other essentials for getting this room finished. We were blessed by some families in our community with drywall (from their projects that they had left over).

Today I also picked out the paint for the room which we also decided to paint Kennedy's room. We bought a used chandelier that we will be painting pink for Kennedy's room too. Here is a link to the room color.

We have lots and lots of projects that we are excited to tackle. I promise to take pictures and post them as we go!

 Some other big news at our place is Kennedy's new big girl bed!! She has been in a big girl bed (her crib with the front rail off), but finally has her permanent big girl bed! We wanted to get this transition done before baby comes and takes her old bed.
She was completely okay with this new deal. We will be searching for some nice bedding for her, but with the heat, just a pillow and a pull-up is perfect!

 Our friend Justin Barber came over to help Ryan tear up the floor to get ready to lay the new subfloor down. 

Hard to believe in 3 months we'll have a little baby sleeping in this room.
We can't wait!!
